To Tweet or not to Tweet

I have recently started using Twitter solely for contesting, and am wondering who else has used it and what they think of it. I have to say I like that its a constant stream of new contests pouring into me at all hours. I find 1/2 of them are just links to ordinary contests I might not have known about and the other 1/2 are twitter contests that require a bit more work but so far seem to be quite effective.
